SEPAeditor's simplicity and user-friendly aspect won over the Abbey of Canons of St. Mary

Brother Luc and Brother Benoît chose SEPAeditor to receive donations for their abbey, as they were convinced by the software's easy-to-use and intuitive interface.

  • Could you tell us about your organisation and your role within it?

We are Brother Luc and Brother Benoît from the Abbey of Canons of St. Mary, situated in Lagrasse. We are responsible for collecting the donations that support the abbey's maintenance and the livelihood of its canons.

  • How did you find out about SEPAeditor?

Our banking partner had recommended a solution to convert our benefactors' bank details (saved in an Excel document) into the SEPA format. However, given the complexity of this application, we searched the internet for a piece of software that is simpler to use, and chose to go for SEPAeditor. It enables us to import data saved in Excel easily and for a reasonable price.

  • How did you find the process of registering for SEPAeditor and setting it up? And how do you use it today?

Set-up was very easy and quick, it just took us a while to get used to the required format and to saving data in SEPAeditor. But now we use it once a month for payments from 400 donors by importing files, and we are very satisfied.

  • What impact has SEPAeditor had on your organisation?

SEPAeditor has simplified administration and enabled us to work more quickly. We used to use a competitor's software (recommended by our bank), but importing our data was very laborious. So as a result we switched to SEPAeditor.

  • What do you see as SEPAeditor's strengths?

SEPAeditor's interface is pleasant to use and quite intuitive for users who have basic IT knowledge. SEPAeditor's simplicity is also an advantage; there is no superfluous information.
